(I have the biggest soft spot for Nicky and Kevin) Each character has a fascinating backstory which captivates the reader and makes you love the minor characters even more. The concept of Exy was interesting to read and despite the weirdness of the plot, I liked how realistic the characters were. The Foxhole Court (All for the Game) has 260 pages. I originally gave this book 1 star but it was like 12 at night when I finished it so I slept on it and decided a 3 rating was more suitable. I enjoyed the plot, but I had bigger problems with issues like rape jokes and homophobic slurs within the book that made it uncomfortable to read. To be honest, it’s hard to explain this whole book because so much happens and would spoil the book immensely. The lie that has kept him living for five years begins to break under the pressure of his new teammates and the truth about him could get him killed. But Neil is on the run from his father, an abusive man in the mob, and signing a contract with the PSU Foxes should be the last thing Neil should ever do. It’s extremely popular and the only thing that makes Neil happy. The Foxhole Court focuses on a fictional sport called Exy, which seems like a mix of lacrosse, hockey, and some other sports I can’t quite remember. I didn’t like certain aspects of the novel, but overall plotline interested me enough to actually want to continue the series. In this installment, Sydney’s sister is now staying with her and that’s only the tip of the stress-filled iceberg.Having just finished this, I must say that I’m not exactly sure what to say about this book. The Fiery Heart is the fourth book in the Bloodlines series. But then again that’s why I don’t want to do rainbow shelves, because I’ll be so confused with which cover fits with which colour. The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead – I think I’m pretty sure this cover does actually fit the black and orange theme. I know, I’m not following the exact T5T rules, but I like being a rebel.Īugust and Jack are best friends, but when Jack starts to have hallucinations, August has to figure out what’s true and what’s not and where does he fit in? The Wicker King by Kayla Ancrum – I realised I did not have many black and orange books that I either love or I know I’ll love, so here’s another black and gold book. What will she find about herself along the way, and will she lose any of herself doing so? I just need to get around to reading it!!Ĭsorwe travels with a mage in order to escape her old fate and hopefully find a new one. The reason why it’s here because A) I love this cover and B) I know I’ll love this because this is the exact type of thing I look for in an epic fantasy. Mais lorsqu’il rencontre Tomcat, ses fantasmes s. Le deal : faire ce qu’il est venu faire, et son cousin rentrera dans le programme de protection des témoins. I… have not read this yet! I have the arc, it has an intriguing tagline, so why aren’t I reading it? I have no idea. Inquiet de l’implication de son cousin dans les Killers, le Navy SEAL Jace Reynolds accepte d’infiltrer le club pour effectuer une surveillance à court terme pour le FBI. Nora Sakavic (Goodreads Author) (shelved 1 time as inmemorables). Larkwood – Okay, so this isn’t exactly true orange. The Foxhole Court (All for the Game, 1) by. Everything’s burning around them and what can be saved? Regan has to try to figure out what’s going on in Parole, and how, or if, it can be fixed, with the help of some new friends. It’s mostly orange, right? What is colour, anyway! I think I might plan for the trilogy to be my first read of 2020 □ Depending on where I am on the 31/1…Ĭhameleon Moon by RoAnna Sylver – RoAnna is definitely one of those auto-read authors for me and this is a favourite read, even though it’s a dystopian (I prefer dystopian movies/series to books). I am utter trash for the characters and the crazy plot that happens. Listen, I love love love this series so much. One of his teammates was somebody Neil knew from his violent past and he appears to have so many issues on his plate that he just does not recognize Neil from several years ago. Blue Plate Special est une émouvante histoire de seconde chance qui vous réconfortera de la meilleure façon qui soit. The problem is that this happens faster than he expected. Et un parfait mélange de tension, de nourriture, de vin, de badinage, de sensualité et démotions vives, je me suis littéralement régalée. The Foxhole Court follows Neil Josten, who’s so totally devoted to Exy (a fictional sport that’s a mix between lacrosse and ice hockey, it seems) that he agrees to join the outcast Exy team, the Foxes. Neil lets himself be convinced to sign up with the Foxes and play for a while until his past catches up with him. And the paws are outlined in black, so I think that fits?! □ The Foxhole Court by Nora Sakovic – Of COURSE this is the first book that comes to mind when I’m thinking of orange covers.
